The strategic clearing of excess vegetation reduces fuel for incineration in uncontrolled wildfires, preventing the release of previously captured carbon. By striking a balance between preservation and responsible management, La Dorada Forest Preserve cultivates a thriving forest for the flora, fauna and visual splendors of nature. It is through these dedicated practices that we contribute to the health and sustainability of our cherished resource.
“ECO-FLOW” MEANS EVERYTHING TO US.
La Dorada Forest Preserve employs virtual carbon-neutral and eco-friendly methods of harvesting and milling wood to preserve captured carbon. We make use of responsible logging techniques and efficient mobile milling practices on site to minimize waste and environmental impact. The wood is dried using renewable energy resources. By prioritizing sustainability, we minimize our carbon footprint throughout our entire fabrication processes. Unusable materials remain intact to honor the process that trees actuate in cleansing our planet.
We think of ourselves as Flow-Masters. Our master foresters, trained as biologists and botanists, direct the selection of every tree in order to embrace both the ecology of and wildlife habitats of the forest. Our master sawyers and mobile mill workers harvest and slice each log on site, conserving fuel, minimizing invasive access roads, and reducing milling waste. Finally, our master designers interact with their forestry partners to insure maximum wood utilization and grain figuration.
